SAGGERE RAMASWAMY, editor of the photo syndication agency, Karnataka Photo News, forwards a set of self-explanatory pictures (source unknown) that show how difficult modern-day photography, especially sports photography, has become.

There’s tonnes of equipment to lug along—multiple cameras, multiple lenses, multiple flashes, multiple setups—and then there is the jostling with the colleagues, the hours of “fielding” to be done for that one decisive frame that meets the expectations of editors with their own quirks and kinks.
