The nation wants to know: TOI or Times Now?

20 September 2011

As a story, newspapers verus television is as old as the bush telegraph. But the story gets more interesting when a group owns both print and electronic properties, as The Times group does.

Can it afford to decry one or the other? On the strength of this advertisement, evidently it can.

“While it may stir your emotions, does it [TV] really leave you better informed about the subject being discussed? Probably not.”

Try telling that to Mr Goswami.

    Fitting one word answer: NEITHER.

    BS!!

  2. Mahesh Vijapurkar Says:

Unless you wear suit and a a scowl and ask with sufficient indignation that you want to know, you won’t get an answer.

  3. Kerala Varma Says:

Arnab Goswami is making a living by pandering to highlight hand picked news of the day trying to score points that appeal to one political party or other. And what is more he has more than willing chaps on the panel from Ram.J.(guess who) to S.Swami.
And when the going gets tough he (Arnab) does not get tough as the adage goes but deflects the protagonist’s ire to a rival in the panel.
Look how Dr.Balachandran (Atomic energy scientist) stoutly put him (Arnab again) last night on the mat and he (Arnab of course) was hiding behind Smt.N.S’s pallu.
AG gets hot under his collar too often to recall.

  4. Madhusudan Thakkar Says:

TOI goup should practice what they preach.By the way what are the views of TOI on PAID NEWS?
